Photo: ExproExpro has been awarded its first major subsea completion landing string contract in India, the company announced on 26 November 2012.
The three-year contract comes with options to extend for another two years. The scope of work involves the supply of two complete 7 3/8" electro hydraulic (EH) completion landing string systems along with two sets of topside controls equipment for a deepwater subsea development program in India.
Expro's subsea sales director Graham Cheyne called the contract a major breakthrough for the company.
'We look forward to building a strong and successful relationship in this region and demonstrating Expro's innovative subsea technology,' Cheyne said.
