Solstad CSV Secures Extension

ƶijϻ shipping company Solstad ƶijϻ has won a contract extension for its construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Pacific.

The CSV has been working for the offshore cabling specialist Prysmian, which has now exercised its option to extend, said the Norwegian offshore vessel operator.

The extension in for two years. The contract is now expected to keep the vessel busy with Prysmian until December 31, 2021.

Also, Prysmian will have an option to further extend the contract for three more years.  The Normand Pacific has been on a charter with Prysmian since August 2016.

Normand Pacific is a purpose built ƶijϻ Construction / ROV / Survey vessel built at Bergen Group BMV AS, Norway, yard no. 167 for owner Solstad Rederi AS, Norway. It was delivered in 2010.
