Solstad Charters PSV Pair to Aker BP

Solstad ƶijϻ announced Wednesday that Norwegian operator Aker BP has taken a pair of large platform supply vessels (PSV) on 12-month charter under a frame agreement announced earlier this month.

The 2011-built Normand Arctic and 2013-built Normand Leader will both go to work for Aker BP within the first quarter of 2019.

Aker BP announced on March 1 that it awarded frame agreements with PSV suppliers Simon Møkster Shipping, Eidesvik ƶijϻ and Solstad ƶijϻ, in a move that aims to reorganize the value chain. The frame agreements are for three years, with two additional two-year options.
