N-Sea lines up Northern River DSV

N-SEA has secured the DPII DSV Northern River from Serco’s Marine Services for the 2013 season to support its expansion in the subsea IMR market.
 
N-SEA will install a compliment of ROV’s onboard including a high powered WROV and 2 SubAtlantic Mohican Inspection class ROV’s. N-SEA will also mobilise a full survey suite and a TUP Diving System to cover the multitude of operations throughout the coming season.
 
The DPII DSV Northern River has an excellent track record and has proven to be an ideal platform for IMR and subsea construction activities and will be a welcome addition to the N-Sea fleet alongside the Noordhoek Pathfinder. The DPII DSV Northern River is also well-suited for the renewables market and has in the past conducted long diving assignments on several subsea construction projects for the North Sea’s best known oil and gas operators.
 
“From the DPII DSV Northern River N-SEA will deploy it’s skilled and dedicated teams offering full TUP Diving, survey and inspection capabilities, which will also be supported by experienced onshore teams,” said Gerard Keser, N-Sea’s managing director.
 
“The DPII DSV Northern River will be performing vessel duties this season, including pipeline, platform and subsea structure inspection, and construction support. This will also be supported by the experienced Serco Marine Services crew and onshore teams onboard SD Northern River.”
