Eni extends BW ƶijϻ FPSO contract

BW ƶijϻ has signed a Letter of Intent for a two years extension for FPSO Abo with Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited, an affiliate of Eni, until Q4 2016, with options for additional seven years (until Q4 2023). 

The Abo field came onstream, in 500-800m deep water offshore Nigeria, in 2003, using the Abo FPSO. It was the first producing deepwater field offshore Nigeria. 

The Abo FPSO has a storage capacity of 900,000 barrels of oil and oil treatment capacity of up to 45,000 bo/d, a water injection capacity of 30,000 bbl/d and a gas injection capacity of 35 MMscf/d.
