The installation of topsides liquefaction equipment has begun on the Caribbean FLNG project that will be in service offshore Colombia, EPCIC contractor Wison ƶijϻ & Marine Ltd. announced. The company said the vessel will be the world’s first FLNG in operation. Topsides equipment will utilize the PRICO technology, supplied by subcontractor Black & Veatch, to liquefy natural gas. Owner Exmar will operate the vessel offshore Colombia.
